What we are looking for:- A Bachelor's degree related to Environmental Science (e.g., Chemistry, Environmental Sciences, Environmental Engineering).- A Master's degree in Environmental Management / Management Systems (ISO 14001, EMAS) or Sustainability and Climate Change is highly valued.- Advanced English proficiency.- A valid driver's license.- Experience in:Carbon footprint calculation (Scopes 1, 2, and 3). Practical knowledge of environmental ISO standards. Principles of circular economy. Environmental legislation. Project management (scheduling, Gantt charts, milestone tracking). Advanced Excel / BI tools. Interpreting environmental audits.

We are currently seeking a Senior Environmental Consultant to enhance our Madrid office:

Your main responsibilities will include:

Supporting the department head in project execution and control:

  • Assisting in project planning, monitoring, and closure.
  • Managing milestones, deadlines, deviations, and operational needs.
  • Preparing technical and management documentation associated with each project.
  • Coordinating with other involved departments.

Collaboration with the technical team:

  • Tracking the progress of technical activities.
  • Gathering and consolidating information generated by the team.
  • Facilitating internal communication and swiftly resolving minor issues.
  • Ensuring alignment between project requirements and technical deliverables.

Analyzing departmental KPIs (efficiency, timelines, profitability, success rate in bids).

  • Monthly collection and updating of departmental performance data.
  • Monitoring and proposing improvements.
  • Identifying trends and operational risks based on KPIs.

Assisting in budget preparation:

  • Preparing cost estimates and timelines.
  • Reviewing budget deviations.
  • Collaborating on economic proposals for tenders.
  • Controlling and tracking project-related expenses.
  • Interfacing with clients and external stakeholders.
