What You NeedBachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline. A minimum of 5 years of experience in circuit analysis and simulation for mixed-signal control systems. Demonstrated expertise in conducting WCCA, DFMEA, and margin analysis on MCU-based boards, sensor interfaces, or power management systems. Proficiency in SPICE simulation tools (PSpice, LTSpice, HSPICE) and MATLAB/Simulink. A solid understanding of MCU control circuits, analog sensor interfaces (resolvers, voltage/current sensors), PMICs, power sequencing, and component derating principles.

What You’ll Do

  • Execute Worst Case Circuit Analysis (WCCA) and margin analysis on critical control and measurement circuits, including microcontrollers, resolver interfaces, PMICs, power trees, voltage/current sensors, and digital communication protocols (CAN, SPI, etc.).
  • Conduct circuit simulations using SPICE and MATLAB to evaluate designs under varying component tolerances, temperature extremes, and voltage fluctuations.
  • Lead Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (DFMEA) for control and sensor boards, collaborating with Safety and Reliability teams to identify and mitigate potential risks.
  • Analyze the impact of single-event upsets and latch-ups on essential system functionalities.
  • Perform electrical stress analysis and component derating assessments.
  • Assist the design team with analytical validation of power management architectures, sensor interfaces, and MCU-based control circuits.
  • Work closely with hardware, controls, firmware, safety, and reliability teams to ensure compliance with aerospace performance and certification standards.
  • Generate technical documentation and analysis reports to support design reviews and adhere to DO-254/DO-160 compliance.
