Qualifications

3 - 5+ years of relevant experience in financial services or the payment industry. Strong understanding of Card Network regulations (VISA, MC, and SMS) relevant to chargeback processing. Working knowledge of U. S Payment Regulations, data privacy, and other regulatory frameworks for dispute management. Ability to work independently with a high volume of cases/projects executed with exceptional quality. Experience in direct customer interaction; proficient in de-escalation and resolution strategies.

Join Marqeta as a Senior Dispute Analyst, where you will play a pivotal role in refining complex operational processes, identifying inefficiencies, and enhancing quality outcomes for regulatory compliance. You will collaborate with a dynamic team of innovative, agile professionals who leverage their strengths to drive speed, efficiency, and scalability across the organization. This role involves working closely with internal teams and external partners (BPO) to manage operational process flows, ensure compliance with regulations, analyze quality assurance results, and update procedures as necessary. Additionally, you will be responsible for facilitating communication with Marqeta’s programs and supporting essential reporting requirements.
