About Our Client:

Our client, The Weather Company, is a dynamic consumer-focused organization based in New York City. With a rich, established culture, they are entering an exciting new phase of strategic growth and execution. This role of Senior Director, People & Culture is hybrid, requiring in-office presence in NYC from Tuesday to Thursday, with occasional travel to the Boston office (approximately once a month). This position is highly visible and collaborates closely with senior leadership to position People & Culture as a pivotal strategic element of the business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead initiatives around workforce planning, talent acquisition, employee development, performance management, and succession planning.

  • Act as a trusted advisor to senior executives regarding people strategies, organizational efficiency, and company culture.

  • Transform business objectives into actionable people initiatives that enhance performance, engagement, and retention.

  • Promote company values while nurturing a culture of inclusion, accountability, and continuous improvement.

  • Guide and manage a team, offering mentorship, coaching, and professional development opportunities.

  • Develop and refine the end-to-end talent acquisition strategy, encompassing employer branding, sourcing, hiring practices, and candidate experience.

  • Collaborate with business leaders on workforce planning to ensure alignment with current and future talent needs.

  • Create scalable, inclusive hiring practices that facilitate growth while upholding quality and equity.

  • Lead, enhance, and streamline the Talent Acquisition team and its processes.
