Bachelor's degree required. MBA or Master's degree in Supply Chain is mandatory. A minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible experience in management consulting, showcasing:Strong analytical skills (both quantitative and qualitative), critical thinking, and problem structuring abilities. Proficiency in PowerBI, Python, and other analytical tools is preferred. A high degree of business acumen. Excellent PowerPoint development and presentation skills. Comprehension of operational processes and concepts, including procurement, supply chain planning, and logistics. A pragmatic approach with a pronounced focus on implementation. Outstanding listening, verbal, and written communication skills. Flexibility to adapt to changing requirements while working effectively under pressure in teams.

Roland Berger is seeking experienced Senior Consultants with a focus on Operations to join our dynamic Mexico City office. In this pivotal role, you will engage in high-impact consulting projects across a diverse array of industries, contributing to the enhancement of operational excellence and fostering growth through innovative solutions. Our Operations team specializes in engineering, procurement, production, supply chain management, service optimization, operational efficiency, and quality assurance. We pride ourselves on our deep understanding of industry challenges and our ability to deliver creative strategies to optimize business performance.

As a Senior Consultant, you will have the opportunity to interact directly with client leadership and guide specialized teams. Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee client projects, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction, team performance, and timely, budget-compliant delivery.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong, long-term client relationships.
  • Assist management in acquiring and delivering Operations projects.
  • Gather, analyze, and interpret client and industry data.
  • Evaluate client situations and develop customized operational strategies to improve performance.
  • Structure problem-solving processes, develop project timelines, and delegate tasks to team members.
  • Lead problem-solving initiatives, change management, and transformation efforts throughout client engagements.
  • Create action plans to enhance products and processes, boost efficiency, and ensure scalability.
  • Engage with client personnel at all levels, from shop floor operators to executive leadership.
  • Contribute to project documentation and capability-building resources.
  • Mentor junior team members through on-the-job training and coaching.
  • Develop intellectual capital in key areas as part of our thought leadership initiatives.
  • Travel to client sites as necessary.
