About the Role:

In light of our growth, we are seeking a Senior Construction Cost Estimator to enhance our cost modeling and ensure financial precision across capital projects. This pivotal role will contribute to delivering reliable outcomes by integrating meticulous cost estimation with proactive cash flow forecasting, supporting Crusoe’s expansion across the globe.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Oversee comprehensive estimating processes for data center construction projects, from initial planning through to execution.

  • Create detailed cost models that reflect design objectives, accommodate changes in scope, and align with delivery strategies.

  • Develop and manage project cash flow forecasts to facilitate financial planning, budget oversight, and funding requests.

  • Prepare in-depth estimates for Civil, Structural, Architectural, Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing systems for both domestic and international projects.

  • Assess vendor and subcontractor proposals against established internal benchmarks and historical data.

  • Analyze discrepancies and model cost implications arising from design alterations, procurement challenges, or shifts in schedule.

  • Collaborate with finance, real estate, and development departments to shape business cases and funding strategies.

  • Generate succinct cost reports, dashboards, and executive summaries that provide clear insights and actionable recommendations.

  • Establish scalable tools and repeatable processes to enhance Crusoe’s infrastructure development pipeline.

  • Maintain and continuously improve historical cost databases based on actual expenditures and market trends.

  • Contribute to site feasibility assessments and preconstruction strategies with analysis-driven insights.

  • Assist in value engineering initiatives and cost optimization efforts.
