The Senior Compensation Analyst at Luminis Health in Annapolis, MD plays a central role in compensation analysis, program administration, and market evaluation. This position provides advanced analytical and consultative support for compensation program design, policy interpretation, and market competitiveness. The work supports alignment of compensation strategies with organizational goals and regulatory requirements.

Main responsibilities

  • Administer and maintain wage and salary programs, following established policies and best practices to support both internal equity and external competitiveness.
  • Collaborate with leaders and HR Business Partners to create and update job descriptions that accurately reflect duties, responsibilities, and minimum qualifications for evaluation and classification.
  • Conduct detailed market analyses using third-party survey data and internal benchmarks to assess job classifications and recommend appropriate salary ranges.
  • Lead and participate in salary surveys, ensuring comprehensive data collection to evaluate and support the organization’s competitive position in the market.
  • Analyze survey results and independently recommend market adjustments, including preparing cost projections and financial models for current and future fiscal years.
  • Develop and maintain complex compensation models and tools to support salary structure design, retention analysis, incentive programs, and pay equity reviews.
  • Oversee the annual merit increase process for staff and leadership, including timeline development, merit budget modeling, communication materials, and system validation.
  • Contribute to the design, implementation, and management of variable pay and incentive programs that support organizational performance and recognize achievements.
  • Develop and advocate for compensation policies and procedures to ensure compliance with all applicable federal and state wage and hour regulations.
