About the job

At CoMind, we are pioneering a revolutionary non-invasive neuromonitoring technology, heralding a new era in clinical brain monitoring. By joining our team, you will contribute to the development of cutting-edge technologies aimed at enhancing the diagnosis and treatment of brain disorders, ultimately improving and saving patients' lives globally.

The Role:

As a Senior Clinical Data Scientist at CoMind, you will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team at the intersection of neurophysiology, optics, machine learning, and signal processing.

In this role, you will serve as a technical leader, driving the investigation and analysis of complex multidimensional time-series datasets collected from our neuromonitoring technologies, in both clinical trial and experimental contexts. You will be pivotal in harnessing these innovative physiological and optical signals to derive actionable insights that will inform product development and clinical decision-making. By working closely with clinicians, neurophysiologists, physicists, and engineers, you will refine algorithms to extract meaningful metrics related to brain function, blood flow, and autoregulation, while validating signal quality in real-world applications.

At CoMind, all team members are expected to work in our new Kings Cross offices at least 4 days a week, with an additional flexible work-from-home day.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead technical oversight of clinical/neurophysiological data analysis projects.

  • Own and manage workstreams by defining project scope, deliverables, timelines, and ensuring alignment with company objectives.

  • Conduct exploratory data analyses on intricate time-series datasets from clinical trials, internal studies, and external databases.

  • Develop, prototype, and implement signal processing and machine learning models to analyze physiological signals such as cerebral blood flow and autoregulation, deriving actionable clinical insights.

  • Provide guidance and support to team members within your workstreams, ensuring quality output and adherence to deadlines.

  • Collaborate with domain experts to translate clinical requirements into effective data analysis workflows.

  • Write high-quality, well-tested Python code that adheres to industry standards for medical-grade software, facilitating FDA regulatory compliance.

  • Produce clear, insightful documentation and white papers to communicate findings and methodologies.
