About the Role:
We are seeking a Senior Backend Engineer specializing in Enterprise Readiness & Identity to enhance our platform’s security, compliance, and scalability for enterprise clients. This is a crucial role on a newly established team focusing on authentication, authorization, billing, security, compliance, and tenant management. You will work closely with infrastructure, product management, go-to-market teams, and our top enterprise clients to establish the foundational elements of our enterprise services. This position requires in-person presence five days a week in New York City, San Francisco, or Boston.
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement backend services using Python and Go for enterprise authentication, authorization, billing, and tenant provisioning.
- Develop and enhance systems for SAML, SCIM, OAuth2, and single sign-on (SSO) integrations.
- Create robust role-based access control (RBAC) and attribute-based access control (ABAC) models at an organizational scale.
- Build and optimize billing infrastructure, including invoicing, usage-based charges, and support for flexible pricing models.
- Implement audit logging, usage tracking, and metering pipelines to ensure compliance and accurate billing.
- Streamline enterprise onboarding and tenant lifecycle management for enhanced reliability and scalability.
