The Opportunity:
As a key player in delivering exceptional lifecycle services to regulated and high-stakes markets, Catalyx is committed to driving innovation and excellence. We collaborate with life sciences and other highly regulated organizations to enhance their operational efficiency and achieve success. This role will focus on Emerson DeltaV and various control platforms to facilitate automation projects, system lifecycle functions, and production operations within a compliant pharmaceutical setting.
Your Responsibilities:
Design, configure, and maintain automation systems utilizing Emerson DeltaV and other DCS/PLC/SCADA platforms.
Oversee the complete automation lifecycle, including system design, configuration, testing, commissioning, and ongoing operational support.
Generate essential automation documentation, such as functional design specifications, test protocols, and system configuration documents.
Engage in system testing activities, including FAT, SAT, IQ, and OQ.
Assist manufacturing operations by troubleshooting and investigating the root causes of automation system issues.
Collaborate closely with operations, validation, and engineering teams to guarantee compliant system delivery.
Provide on-call or production support as needed for critical automation systems.
Mentor junior engineers and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the automation domain.
Qualifications:
Demonstrable experience with Emerson DeltaV or equivalent control systems.
In-depth knowledge of automation best practices and lifecycle processes.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, particularly in high-stakes environments.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.
