Role overview

The Senior Analyst, Applied AI - G&A Intelligence will join the Applied AI/Innovation team, focusing on General and Administrative (G&A) use cases. This position centers on analytics and workflow automation, not software engineering. The analyst will work to improve OpenGov’s HR, Talent Acquisition, and Enablement functions by identifying and developing AI-driven workflows, tools, and copilots. The goal is to reduce manual friction, support better decisions, and free up time for work that requires human insight.

What you will do

  • Identify, prioritize, and develop AI-enhanced workflows and automation for G&A teams
  • Transform manual, disorganized processes into efficient, AI-supported systems
  • Collaborate with partner teams to understand their operations and uncover opportunities for AI-native redesign
  • Manage the full lifecycle from problem identification to solution delivery, working with AI/data engineers as needed
  • Operate within the Applied AI team’s technical and governance frameworks

Requirements

  • Strong process orientation and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with modern AI tools (such as Claude, ChatGPT, third-party AI apps, and no-code/low-code automation platforms)
  • No coding required; extensive HR Operations/Tech experience is not necessary
  • Ability to work independently and handle sensitive HR data with discretion and sound judgment
  • Understanding of data confidentiality and HR compliance

This role requires maturity and trustworthiness, as it involves access to sensitive data and systems at a level comparable to senior HR leadership.
