Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Environmental, Civil or Chemical Engineering, Biology, Geology, Natural Sciences, or a related field with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience or equivalent education. A minimum of 6 years of experience in air quality permitting and regulatory compliance. A valid Driver’s License and the ability to pass AECOM’s Motor Vehicle Records review as a condition of employment. U. S. citizenship is required due to the nature of the work. Experience in air permitting. Preferred Qualifications:Experience in business development, including proposal preparation. Familiarity with Pennsylvania and/or New Jersey air permitting programs. Ability to interpret and implement state and federal regulations. Experience in managing and mentoring junior staff members.8+ years of experience in air quality permitting and regulatory compliance.

AECOM is looking for an innovative and skilled Senior Air Quality Project Manager for immediate opportunities at our Chelmsford, MA, Conshohocken, PA, or Raleigh, NC offices. This role is integral to our air permitting and compliance team.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Collaborating with clients to formulate strategies that ensure compliance while maintaining operational flexibility, meeting expectations related to scope, budget, schedule, and quality.
  • Conducting compliance audits.
  • Preparing comprehensive air permit application packages.
  • Developing air permitting strategies.
  • Reviewing air regulatory compliance.
  • Creating air emission inventories.
  • Mentoring junior and mid-level staff, fostering their technical growth through constructive feedback and challenging assignments.
  • Drafting proposals and cost estimates.
  • Exhibiting strong oral and written communication skills, alongside proficiency in mathematics and computer applications.
  • Fostering teamwork and collaboration.
