As a Senior Account Manager specializing in the Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance (BFSI) sector, you will be responsible for overseeing key client relationships, fostering business growth through strategic upselling and cross-selling initiatives, and ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction and retention. This role demands an intricate understanding of the challenges faced by BFSI clients, as well as IT and digital solutions, including cloud services, security, and outsourcing. You will operate at the senior stakeholder level to drive impactful results.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES- Act as the primary liaison for assigned BFSI accounts, cultivating and strengthening relationships with C-level executives and senior decision-makers at banks, insurance firms, fintech companies, and other financial institutions.
- Develop and implement comprehensive account plans that align with annual objectives, client aspirations, and the CNS solution portfolio.
- Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities within existing accounts and actively seek out new clients in the BFSI sector.
- Oversee the entire sales lifecycle, from identifying opportunities to solution design (in partnership with pre-sales and solution architects), proposal development, negotiation, and contract finalization.
- Collaborate with pre-sales, delivery, service operations, finance, and contract teams to ensure seamless implementation, billing, and ongoing support for clients.
- Monitor account health, provide performance metrics, track pipeline, assess risks and opportunities, and deliver regular updates to senior sales leadership.
- Stay informed about market dynamics, competitor activities, and industry trends within the BFSI sector to effectively position CNS solutions.
- Ensure high levels of client satisfaction and retention by proactively managing escalations, service delivery challenges, and evolving client requirements.
- Maintain accurate records in CRM tools (such as Salesforce or HubSpot) while adhering to internal procedures and standards.
- Represent the organization at client meetings and industry events, contributing to thought leadership in the BFSI domain.
