Key Responsibilities: Evaluate and prioritize findings from vulnerability scans, penetration tests, and configuration assessments to identify potential security threats. Collaborate with DevOps, engineers, and system owners to address vulnerabilities across multi-cloud and on-premises assets. Assist in the development of secure configuration baselines for AWS, Azure, and Oracle Cloud resources. Monitor cloud environments for misconfigurations and unusual activities. Support IAM policy evaluations and privilege audits. Create scripts (using Python, PowerShell, or Bash) to automate the detection, reporting, or remediation of security issues. Integrate security tools and data into dashboards or workflow systems such as Jira, SIEM, or ticketing systems. Provide technical evidence and assistance for SOC 2, ISO 27001, or customer security assessments. Work alongside the compliance team to align technical controls with framework requirements.

Position Overview

As a Security Analyst II, you will play a crucial role in safeguarding the grid and protecting our clients’ interests. You will be a valued member of our expanding Security & Compliance team, responsible for building security automations, establishing baselines for both on-premises and cloud environments, assisting in vulnerability assessments, supporting our compliance efforts with audit preparation, and much more. This role presents a unique opportunity to contribute to a small but impactful team that is becoming increasingly essential to Yes Energy’s security posture.
