Pathlight School is proud to be Singapore's pioneering autism-focused educational institution, uniquely combining the national curriculum with vital life readiness skills. We serve a diverse group of students, aged 7 to 18 years, on the autism spectrum and related conditions. Our dedicated approach ensures that these learners, who are able to engage with the national curriculum, receive the tailored support they need, including smaller class sizes, specialized accommodations, and skilled educators trained in autism.

As an Educator, your contributions will encompass:
Excellence in Curriculum and Instruction
- Design and implement engaging lessons tailored to the diverse learning profiles of students.
- Utilize evidence-based instructional strategies and meaningful activities to address individual educational needs.
- Conduct assessments that provide valuable insights into student progress and offer constructive feedback, alongside appropriate instructional support to bridge learning gaps.
Comprehensive Student Development
- Foster strong relationships with students through demonstrated care and encouragement.
- Create data-driven Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and Individual Transition Plans (ITPs), collaborating with families, caregivers, allied professionals, and stakeholders to support student achievement.
- Utilize innovative methods and tools, such as Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) systems and adaptive learning technologies, to enhance student learning experiences.
- Establish positive classroom routines and practices that cultivate a safe and supportive learning environment conducive to student growth.
- Employ behavioral techniques and strategies to effectively manage complex and challenging behaviors within the classroom.
- Respond to emergency situations and implement necessary safety protocols.
Commitment to Professional Growth
- Engage proactively in ongoing professional development to enhance knowledge and skills.
- Collaborate with colleagues through professional learning teams to promote a culture of shared learning.
Contributions to Projects, Programs, and Initiatives
