The Partnership Officer is instrumental in driving the expansion of our business by fostering and managing relationships with a wide array of partners. This position demands a highly organized and self-motivated professional with exceptional relationship management abilities and a knack for juggling multiple projects simultaneously.Key Responsibilities Establish a systematic, process-oriented strategy for partner outreach and relationship management. Design an onboarding plan and certification program for partners that is to be completed following enablement and orientation sessions. Work collaboratively with internal teams to create and execute joint marketing, sales, and support initiatives. Partner with senior management, Business Development teams, and Strategy Managers to synchronize our internal objectives with new and existing partner relationships across Africa. Create a comprehensive “Partner Kit” and coordinate with the marketing team to ensure partners receive essential materials such as branding guidelines, product summaries, and relevant presentations. Collaborate closely with the Business Development member responsible for the assigned territory to ensure alignment on partnership agreements, scopes, quotas, covered products, exclusivity, etc. Maintain ongoing relationships with current partners and explore new avenues for partnership growth. Develop and sustain strong relationships with key decision-makers at partner organizations. Engage cross-functionally with internal teams, including Business Development, Marketing, Strategy, Product Development, and Operations, to support partnership initiatives and achieve results. Identify and source partnership opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound outreach via calls, emails, and client visits in Africa. Actively pursue new partnership opportunities that align with the company’s strategic objectives and the needs of the Business Development team. Evaluate potential partnerships for strategic fit, value proposition, and potential ROI. Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies and partners. Forecast, measure, and report the results of various projects with partners, including co-created and/or co-branded content promotions, lead sharing, and/or event partnerships. Assess partnership performance, challenges, and opportunities to provide regular reports and insights to internal stakeholders. Qualifications A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in partnership management or a related field. Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain strategic partnerships.
