Join Our Team as a Scientist II!

As a Scientist II at RES, you will play a crucial role in the execution, monitoring, and success of ecological restoration initiatives across various ecosystems. This mid-level position is focused on fieldwork and data analysis, encompassing field activities, technical reporting, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure project execution, compliance, and permitting. You will gather, manage, and analyze field data, contribute to project documentation, and leverage your expertise in restoration science to propel project objectives forward.

Your responsibilities will also include outreach activities, engaging with landowners, agency representatives, and grazers. Field tasks may involve vegetation assessments, wetland delineations, and surveys for special-status species. Expect approximately 60–70% of your duties to be field-based.
