About the Role
We are looking for a highly skilled Project Controls Scheduler to join our team, focusing on large-scale construction and modernization projects within the educational sector. As the primary scheduling expert, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that projects remain on schedule, milestones are achieved, and all stakeholders are kept informed. Your collaboration with architects, engineers, contractors, and program leadership will be essential in developing, analyzing, and maintaining comprehensive project schedules from inception to completion.
Your contributions will directly support the delivery of safe, high-quality educational facilities for students and communities.
- Develop & Maintain Schedules: Design and oversee detailed project schedules, identifying relationships, milestones, and constraints for various construction initiatives.
- Analyze & Review Contractor Submittals: Ensure contractor schedules meet scope requirements, logical sequencing, and contractual obligations.
- Perform QA/QC & Schedule Forensics: Validate schedule accuracy, assess critical paths, and review cost/resource allocations and dependencies.
- Time Impact & Delay Analysis: Execute schedule impact assessments for change orders and facilitate negotiations regarding delay settlements.
- On-Site Progress Tracking: Conduct site visits to verify construction progress, confirm contractor reports, and prepare updates for project leadership.
- Collaborate & Communicate: Act as a liaison among project teams, department heads, and the Program & Project Controls department; lead schedule discussions in meetings.
- Data & Reporting: Uphold program-level coding standards, generate schedule performance reports, and regularly update master schedules.
