The ideal candidate should possess:A minimum of 1 year of experience in implementation, maintenance, consulting, pre-sales, or as an end-user of SAP Payroll products. Hands-on experience with the Payroll Module, including PCR, Schema, and Wage Types. Proven ability to manage IT incidents and problems effectively. Strong analytical skills with the capacity to quickly identify the root causes of reported system issues. Excellent interpersonal skills for effective collaboration in problem resolution. Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective information relay to colleagues and management. A proactive and independent work ethic, while also being an effective team player. Critical thinking and problem-solving capabilities. Ability to multitask and manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision. A sense of ownership and pride in one's work. A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

About the job

As an SAP Payroll Functional Consultant, you will play a crucial role in configuring, designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining payroll projects. You will provide expert consultancy services, focusing on ERP products, while ensuring high-quality service delivery and customer satisfaction.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Offer maintenance support for SAP Payroll HR applications.
  • Ensure timely payroll processing for over 190,000 employees by supporting complex solutions.
  • Customize payroll schemas, rules, and calculations to adhere to local tax laws and regulations, including the configuration of wage types and deductions.
  • Investigate reported issues, initiate necessary amendments, and conduct testing to ensure system efficiency and accuracy.
  • Propose effective workarounds or alternative solutions, manage the selection of solutions, and estimate resources and costs to fulfill customer needs.
  • Oversee changes to configurable items, including configuration management planning, identification, controls, and audits.
  • Carry out review and integration testing to guarantee the quality of deliverables prior to user acceptance testing (UAT).
  • Develop technical design specifications and translate them into actionable specifications.
  • Create test packages, execute tests, and document results to ensure program quality.
  • Maintain up-to-date system documentation to support ongoing operations.
  • Strive for overall customer satisfaction in all deliverables.
