Strong expertise in Salesforce Sales Cloud, CPQ, Billing, and e-Commerce solutions. Experience with integration technologies, particularly with Microsoft D365 and enterprise platforms. Proficiency in defining and implementing architectural guidelines and standards. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to mentor and lead technical teams. Strong communication and collaboration abilities to work effectively with diverse teams.

Role Overview: Salesforce Architect

Location: Boston, Massachusetts, United States (Hybrid from a US office)
In-office: 4 days per week (Tuesday through Friday)

This Salesforce Technical Architect role oversees one of the public safety sector’s most complex Salesforce environments. The platform includes Sales Cloud, CPQ, Billing, e-Commerce, and deep integrations with Microsoft D365. The architect sets technical direction, mentors developers, and helps shape the platform’s future to support Axon’s mission.

What You Will Do

  • Define and govern Salesforce technical architecture at Axon, including design patterns, data modeling, integration strategies, and platform security.
  • Lead solution design and architecture reviews for new features, integrations, and platform changes, focusing on scalability, performance, and maintainability.
  • Direct integration strategies connecting Salesforce with Microsoft D365, revenue systems, and other enterprise platforms, using REST/SOAP APIs and event-driven approaches.
  • Establish and maintain coding standards, DevOps practices, and release management processes.
  • Work closely with Business Analysts, Sales Operations, Finance, and other stakeholders to turn requirements into technical solutions.
