About the Role:
As a Merchant Consultant Representative, your primary focus will be on establishing and nurturing relationships with Groupon's local business partners. You will serve as the main contact for small merchants, helping them optimize their live deals, re-engage with Groupon, and expand their business through insightful, data-driven recommendations. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to onboard new merchants, bringing fresh and exciting businesses onto our platform.
Your success will stem from a blend of sales enthusiasm, relationship management, and a keen interest in local businesses. You'll gain insights into how different merchants operate, what drives their success, and how Groupon can assist them in reaching a broader customer base.

Strengthen Groupon's community of local merchants by managing existing partnerships, revitalizing inactive ones, and acquiring new small business accounts that generate value for both merchants and customers.
What You’ll Do:
Manage and develop a portfolio of existing small business merchants across various categories, including beauty, dining, wellness, and services.
Re-engage former or inactive merchants through consultative outreach, identifying opportunities to renew or relaunch deals.
Acquire new local merchants through prospecting and cold calling, introducing Groupon’s solutions for business growth.
Optimize live campaigns by analyzing deal performance, suggesting improvements, and maximizing both merchant satisfaction and Groupon profitability.
