Join Astrome Technologies as a Sales Manager/Senior Manager, where you will play a pivotal role in promoting our innovative space technologies and satellite communication systems. This position focuses on driving revenue growth, forging strategic partnerships, and enhancing customer acquisition across sectors such as government, defense, space agencies, and commercial satellite operators.
The ideal candidate will possess a unique blend of technical acumen, consultative selling skills, and strategic market development expertise.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Account Management
· Oversee the end-to-end sales cycle, including lead generation, solution positioning, proposal creation, negotiations, and contract finalization.
· Craft and deliver technical-commercial proposals, responsive RFP/RFQ submissions, and competitive bids, particularly for defense and PSU tenders.
· Cultivate and manage key accounts and sustain long-term customer relationships.
· Collaborate with engineering, product, and program teams to ensure alignment of customer needs with Astrome solutions.
Business Development & Strategy
· Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the satellite communications, space systems, and advanced ground infrastructure sectors.
· Establish and manage a qualified sales pipeline that spans government, defense, space agencies, telecom operators, and global OEMs.
· Formulate market entry strategies for new regions and applications, including LEO/MEO/GEO, HTS, defense communications, mobility, and enterprise connectivity.
· Monitor global trends in space, satellite communications, and spectrum policy to refine go-to-market strategies.
Partnerships & Ecosystem Development
· Forge strategic partnerships with satellite operators, launch service providers, system integrators, and chipset vendors.
· Engage with key organizations such as ISRO, IN-SPACe, DRDO, MoD, DoT, and international space agencies as applicable.
· Represent Astrome at industry forums, space conferences, and defense exhibitions, both domestically and internationally.
Internal Collaboration & Reporting
· Deliver market intelligence and customer feedback to product development and leadership teams.
· Maintain precise sales forecasts, CRM updates, and management reports.
· Assist in the development of pricing strategies, commercial models, and business cases.
