Position Overview:
At Kong, our Sales Development Representatives serve as the driving force behind our business growth—connecting with leading global brands and high-potential enterprises to generate interest, drive adoption, and establish enduring technological partnerships.
This position transcends traditional prospecting. You'll utilize research and advanced tools to develop strategic territory and account plans, confidently engaging with senior technology leaders (CIOs, CTOs, key decision-makers) and honing your skills to identify business and technical challenges that lead to meaningful solutions.
You'll be motivated to evolve professionally, but you won't face challenges alone. Join a diverse global team of experienced outbound specialists, each with a commendable history of success and a role in securing some of Kong's most prestigious client partnerships.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will be based in Singapore and is expected to work from the office at least twice a week, in accordance with our global standards. Proficiency in Thai (both written and spoken) is essential for engaging with our primary market in Thailand. Additionally, fluency in English is required to interact with other Asian markets.
Your First 90 Days:
End of Month 1 (30 Days)
Orientation with our Enablement Manager and Hiring Manager.
Kong product training - Understanding our role in the API and AI landscape.
Sales tool training - Familiarization with our essential tools.
Introduction to our ecosystem (Sales, Marketing, Partnerships, etc.)
Integration with our SDR Team (APJ)
One-on-one support with Hiring Manager and assigned Mentor.
No quota assigned.
End of Month 2 (60 Days)
Align with your assigned Account Executive(s).
Develop your first territory/account plan(s).
