Role Overview
We are on the lookout for an enthusiastic Sales Development Representative (SDR) eager to open doors and drive leads. This pivotal top-of-funnel role will concentrate on researching, sourcing, and scheduling meetings with qualified decision-makers. You will collaborate closely with our sales team to pinpoint key accounts, develop tailored outreach strategies, and create a compelling first impression of BSA for prospective clients.
This position is not about sending mass emails; it's about strategic outreach, recognizing patterns, and communicating intelligently. You will leverage various tools (such as SalesLoft, LinkedIn, Apollo, Salesforce, etc.) to achieve volume goals while ensuring quality interactions.
Key Responsibilities
Source and research ideal accounts based on ideal customer profile (ICP), including industries, employee count, revenue, and technology stack.
Identify key decision-makers and compile accurate contact lists.
Design and implement personalized outbound sequences via email, LinkedIn, and phone.
Schedule qualified discovery calls for Account Executives (AEs).
Keep detailed and organized records in Salesforce and SalesLoft.
Work collaboratively with the sales team to experiment with messaging, optimize targeting, and enhance feedback loops.
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) weekly, including emails sent, open rates, reply rates, and meetings scheduled.
Stay informed about industry trends, client case studies, and our core service offerings.
Requirements
1 to 3 years of experience in a similar Sales Development Representative (SDR) or Business Development Representative (BDR) role, preferably in an agency or SaaS environment.
Exceptional written communication skills—capable of personalizing outreach and echoing BSA’s tone.
Familiarity with outbound tools such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo, and ZoomInfo.
Comfortable navigating Salesforce and managing your own sales pipeline.
Possess a gritty, curious, and coachable nature; willing to seek and apply feedback quickly.
Confidence in engaging with decision-makers and presenting BSA’s value proposition effectively.
