About the Team
The Sales Compensation Team at Stripe plays a vital role in shaping the compensation strategy, design, and administration for our global sales organization. We ensure alignment between Stripe’s objectives and our compensation programs, guaranteeing that our sales teams receive accurate and timely payments. With a focus on performance and compensation correlation, we collaborate closely with revenue-generating and support functions throughout Stripe to drive the success of our sales efforts.
We are currently seeking a dedicated Sales Compensation Analyst to join our team of three. This role is essential for managing the compensation calculation and payment process for the sales organization. Responsibilities will include processing data, validating calculations, communicating compensation details, and addressing clarification requests. This position requires a patient and meticulous approach to handle sensitive compensation inquiries from stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Ensure accurate and timely payments for roles with variable sales compensation structures.
- Conduct regular audits of the incentive compensation management (ICM) tool, including personnel setup, plan management, processed data, and commission calculations.
- Process data, validate calculations, and communicate compensation details effectively.
- Serve as the first point of contact for compensation inquiries and manage escalations as necessary.
- Utilize both Google Sheets and an ICM tool to facilitate the payment process.
Possess a comprehensive understanding of the sales function, product priorities, and the characteristics of individual sales teams.
