Role Overview
We are in search of a skilled SaaS Revenue & Financial Analyst to take charge of the measurement layer of our entire business. In this pivotal role, you will be the go-to expert for all critical financial metrics , including ARR, net retention, expansion rates, churn, pipeline conversion, cost of acquisition, gross margins by product line, services margins, cash flow, and everything in between. You will leverage Salesforce (our CRM and billing system) and QuickBooks (our financial platform) to create a cohesive and real-time snapshot of company performance.
This is not merely a reporting role; it is an analytical position where you will link revenue operations data to financial results and extract insights that inform decisions at the CEO level.
Your Responsibilities
You will build and sustain our SaaS metrics infrastructure, including ARR waterfall, cohort retention analysis, revenue recognition schedules, deferred revenue tracking, and unit economics by segment. You will ensure consistency between Salesforce bookings data and QuickBooks revenue entries, establishing a single source of truth across both platforms. Additionally, you will produce comprehensive monthly and quarterly financial and revenue packages for leadership, incorporating variance analysis against planned figures. You will model scenarios for pricing adjustments, product bundling, geographic expansion, and workforce investments. You will monitor pipeline health and transform pipeline data into revenue forecasts, clearly documenting your assumptions. Furthermore, you will uphold data integrity between our CRM and accounting systems, promptly addressing any discrepancies before they escalate. You will also support board-level and investor-level reporting with clear, defensible metrics.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess over three years of experience in SaaS financial analysis, revenue operations, or FP&A within a B2B software context. You should have a deep understanding of Salesforce, comprehending opportunity objects, product schedules, contract structures, and data-level reporting. Proficiency in QuickBooks Online is equally essential, including chart of accounts design, revenue categorization, journal entries, and reconciliation processes. A solid grasp of ASC 606 revenue recognition principles is crucial, with the ability to apply them to a multi-product environment.
