Reka’s London lab focuses on robotics research at the intersection of world models, video generation, and advanced AI systems. The team aims to represent complex environments, reason about objects and dynamics, and translate AI intentions into safe, efficient actions across a range of robotic platforms.
Key responsibilities
- Shape and lead the robotics research agenda centered on AI and embodied systems.
- Build and mentor a team of researchers and engineers in London.
- Work closely with groups specializing in world models and simulation to develop advanced training platforms for robotics.
- Guide the creation of persistent 3D and 4D scene representations and new approaches in embodied AI.
- Drive research in scene understanding, sim-to-real transfer, and advanced planning methods.
- Foster collaborations with machine learning researchers, hardware specialists, and external partners.
- Help define the technical culture of the lab and support its external reputation.

Requirements
- Strong background in robotics, computer vision, or closely related fields.

- Entrepreneurial mindset and enthusiasm for innovation in a startup or early-stage lab setting.
- Comfort working across disciplines in machine learning, perception, and robotics.
- Strong communication and team-building skills.
