Role Overview: Restaurant and Bar Manager

Bo by Bougainville seeks a Restaurant and Bar Manager to guide a young, enthusiastic team. This manager will shape the guest experience and set the tone for professionalism and camaraderie in the restaurant and bar.

Main Responsibilities

  • Direct daily service operations for the team at Bo by Bougainville.
  • Foster a workplace culture that values teamwork and professionalism.
  • Coach, train, and support staff to help them grow in their roles.
  • Monitor service standards and guest satisfaction, adjusting as needed.
  • Serve as a main contact for guests and colleagues, building strong relationships with regulars.
  • Offer input on menu tastings and wine pairings to enhance the dining concept.
  • Organize and lead service training sessions, including for departments like Butler service.
  • Join in planning, personnel decisions, budgeting, and process improvements.
  • Maintain clear communication with other departments and management.
  • Support internal communication, knowledge sharing, and the restaurant’s online presence.
  • Be an active member of the management team, contributing to strategic choices.
  • Share responsibility for reservations and follow up on guest reviews to refine service quality.
