Role overview
The Remote Travel Booking Assistant works from home to support travel advisors. This position centers on managing schedules and keeping communication with clients organized. Success in this role calls for someone who is detail-oriented, dependable, and comfortable working independently.
Main responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate calendars for several travel advisors
- Arrange consultations with clients and meetings with suppliers
- Send reminders for appointments and follow up as needed
- Track deadlines and important travel milestones
- Assist with trip timelines, including payment schedules and document delivery dates
- Maintain professional communication with both clients and team members
Requirements
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Clear written and verbal communication
- Experience with Google Calendar, scheduling tools, and email platforms
- Ability to multitask and work independently in a remote environment
- Background in scheduling, administration, or customer service is helpful
- Interest in travel is considered a plus
