Required Qualifications: Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience. Extensive background in HVACR is highly preferred. Proficiency in reading and interpreting wiring schematics. Universal EPA Certification is preferred. Willingness to travel for initial training sessions. A passion for hands-on product exposure and training. Proficient in MS Office applications. Strong public speaking and presentation skills.

Position Summary:
The Regional HVAC Service Trainer will provide hands-on technical training to external contractors, empowering them to execute advanced service work and preventative maintenance while adhering to CaptiveAire’s service standards. This role merges technical acumen with practical application, focusing on enhancing industry proficiency. The position is based at our office in East Petersburg, PA and is not a remote role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and lead training sessions for groups of mechanical contractors, service managers, and field service technicians.
  • Engage in in-depth technical discussions about the refrigeration cycle and its operation through electrical and mechanical controls.
  • Continuously develop and improve training content and delivery methods.
  • Evaluate participant knowledge and adjust content delivery to ensure a consistent understanding among attendees.
  • Manage course material delivery effectively while facilitating discussions and addressing questions.
  • Assess course effectiveness and maintain high trainee engagement throughout the training sessions.
  • Achieve subject matter expertise in CaptiveAire equipment that features industry-leading innovations.
  • Provide feedback and suggestions regarding training materials, best practices, and industry insights to the Product Training Manager.
  • Maintain training equipment, ensure up-to-date software, organize tools, and keep the training facility presentable.
  • Offer remote support for trained technicians.
