REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:Proficiency in working with calibrated equipment such as calipers, micrometers, CMM, torque tools, and multimeters. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, including wire diagrams and work instructions. Strong understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T), including dimensions and tolerances. Experience with quality inspection processes in a production environment. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong attention to detail and adherence to quality standards.

We are currently seeking a Quality Inspector to join our dynamic Quality team in Sydney, Australia. This role involves collaborating with internal teams, customers, and suppliers to ensure the delivery of reliable products that fulfill all mission specifications. The Quality Inspector will play a crucial role in supporting our Manufacturing and Production teams, mastering and executing detailed inspection processes essential for guaranteeing quality products promptly. Daily responsibilities will encompass inspecting incoming materials, equipment, and products to ensure compliance with quality standards. You will also troubleshoot product and production issues, generate non-conformance tickets for resolution, support product traceability, implement corrective actions, and uphold specifications across functions in collaboration with Quality Teams.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Conduct inspections in a modern manufacturing environment, including incoming, in-process, and end-of-line inspections.
  • Assist with Material Review Board processes.
  • Develop, propose, and implement quality assurance policies and procedures in partnership with product quality and manufacturing engineers.
  • Identify and propose continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing productivity, quality, and alignment with Anduril's quality policies.
  • Support the calibration processes for testing equipment, jigs, and fixtures.
  • Facilitate internal and external audits related to processes and procedures.
