Work Experience: A minimum of 3 years of similar experience in the industrial sector is required. Previous experience in the plastics industry will be valued. Technical Knowledge:Specific knowledge of quality standards in the industrial sector. Experience with quality-specific tools and software. Knowledge of ISO 9001 (preferred). Familiarity with plastic injection processes (preferred). Educational Background: Higher Vocational Training in technical areas such as Chemistry, Industrial Organization, Mechanics, or equivalent. Technical training may be substituted by professional experience in the quality sector within a plastic injection company for at least 2 years. Specialization courses, diplomas, or certifications in Quality Control that keep you updated with the latest trends and tools are also valued.

About the job

As a Quality Control Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our finished products and production processes meet established quality standards through thorough inspections in our facilities and production lines.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Conduct quality control tests on manufactured or assembled products throughout the production process (manual assembly, plastic injection molding, and automated assembly) to ensure compliance with quality benchmarks.
  • Utilize various measurement tools during the established quality control tests, such as gauges, microscopes, and other basic measuring equipment.
  • Regularly inspect production processes and associated documentation to ensure adherence to applicable quality regulations and standards.
  • Generate quality reports in accordance with internal procedures, using a control plan platform.
  • Notify internal non-conformities as per established procedures.
  • Develop work instructions and assist in root cause investigations in the event of failures or non-conformities.
  • Ensure follow-up and investigation of customer complaints related to the production process.
  • Prepare and deliver basic training related to quality for production teams (operators and shift leaders).
  • Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives by proposing corrective action plans when failures or areas for improvement are identified.
  • Collaborate closely with other teams to uphold quality standards.
