What will you do as a Test Specialist?
As a Test Specialist, you will serve as the quality guardian within our Delivery Teams. Your primary responsibility is to ensure that digital functionalities are delivered reliably, stably, and predictably. You will collaborate closely with Developers, Platform Engineers, the Scrum Master, and the Product Owner to identify risks early, refine test scenarios, and systematically enhance quality.
You will know exactly when test automation adds value and will apply it pragmatically without losing sight of substantive test coverage.
In this role, you will focus on the following tasks:
Preparing and executing functional, integration, and regression tests.
Creating clear test scenarios and acceptance criteria.
Analyzing, documenting, and reporting findings.
Maintaining and improving automated tests (where applicable).
Identifying risks in the early stages of development and contributing to solutions.
Collaborating with Developers and Platform Engineers to investigate issues.
Enhancing test processes, methodologies, and reusable test assets within and across teams.
What do you bring to the table?
HBO work and thinking level, preferably in a relevant field
Experience in testing digital functionalities within multidisciplinary teams.
Strong analytical skills with a keen sense for risks and quality assurance.
Proficient in drafting test scenarios and documenting findings.
Practical experience with test automation (preferably in a team context).
You work meticulously, in a structured manner, and have a good eye for detail.
Strong communication skills: you clearly explain test results to colleagues and stakeholders.
Collaboration comes naturally to you; you actively seek connections.
Fluent in English; Dutch is a plus.
Bonus if you have experience with Playwright and/or Typescript.
