Experience in GMP and FDA regulated environments required (ISO 13485:2016 preferred). Ability to comply with Gowning Qualification as per Cresilon’s SOP. At least 1 year of experience in a regulated industry is highly desirable. Physical ability to lift, walk, stand, reach, pull, and push.

About the job

The Quality Assurance Technician plays a crucial role in ensuring the safety and quality of Cresilon’s products for both the Animal and Human Health sectors. This position demands meticulous attention to detail, as the technician is tasked with inspecting and testing raw materials, components, and final products. Compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, including current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), is paramount. This position operates on the 2nd shift.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct visual inspections and sampling of final products and raw materials, as well as perform additional testing under the guidance of the QA Operations Manager.
  • Carry out line clearance activities and in-process inspections.
  • Ensure routine manufacturing operations adhere to applicable procedures (refer to Gowning Qualification requirements below).
  • Facilitate the transfer of materials between facilities (lifting requirements apply).
    • Facility 1: 122 18th Street, Brooklyn, NY 11215
    • Facility 2: 87 35th Street, Suite 603/604/6R, Brooklyn, NY 11232
  • Operate testing equipment, including force testers, torque testers, and balances.
  • Document and report any deviations in product quality, components, raw materials, and equipment according to established procedures.
  • Engage in document control activities, such as maintaining logbooks and batch records.
  • Input data into digital systems for tracking quality metrics.
  • Review batch records and assist in routine batch disposition processes.

 

Qualifications:

Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent (A 2- or 4-year degree in Engineering, Science, Technology, or Biotechnology is preferred).

  • Prior experience in GMP and FDA regulated environments is required (ISO 13485:2016 experience is a plus).
  • Ability to achieve Gowning Qualification per Cresilon’s Standard Operating Procedures.
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in a regulated industry is highly desirable.
  • Physical capability to lift, walk, stand, reach, pull, and push as necessary.
