Join our client, a pioneering cloud-based FinTech company revolutionizing the retail finance sector through automation. Their platform seamlessly integrates with numerous APIs, enhancing capabilities from third-party services such as credit agencies, identity verification, and banking solutions. Supported by Legal & General, they have established exceptional partnerships with the major six UK banks, collaborating closely with their internal teams while continuously incorporating cutting-edge fintech innovations in the mortgage market and developing proprietary IP in-house.

The Role

As a QA Tester, you will play a crucial role in shaping and executing testing strategies and policies.

Responsibilities:

  • Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and constructive feedback.
  • Develop automated tests at the UI level using Selenium and unit tests at the web services level.
  • Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases.
  • Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activities effectively.
  • Design, develop, and execute automation scripts with Selenium and NUnit.
  • Identify, record, document, and track bugs meticulously.
  • Conduct thorough regression testing when issues are resolved.
  • Develop and enhance testing processes for various products.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., developers and product managers) to ascertain system requirements.
  • Monitor the debugging process and track results thoroughly.
  • Log errors recorded in production system logs for analysis.
  • Track quality assurance metrics, including defect densities and open defect counts.
  • Stay updated with emerging testing tools and strategies.

Technologies:

  • Web Services (SOAP/REST/JSON)
  • Basic familiarity with the . NET stack
  • SQL
  • Familiarity with Azure or cloud technologies
  • Selenium
  • NUnit
  • Angular/Protractor

Preferred Experience:

  • Experience with security standards (PCI / OWASP)
  • Familiarity with SharePoint
  • Experience with Microsoft Office
  • A background in Azure cloud technologies
