Role Overview

The Provider Productivity and Performance Analyst works closely with clinical and medical group leadership to deliver advanced analytics that drive improvements in physician and advanced practice provider productivity. This position supports the administration of compensation models, evaluates medical group performance, and ensures compliance with regulatory and organizational standards. Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, Clinical Enterprise, the analyst helps shape data-driven decisions that impact provider performance, compensation integrity, and broader clinical enterprise goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and recommend changes to provider compensation structures and incentive plans to improve consistency, reduce risk, and streamline processes.
  • Support the Chief Operating Officer in the Physician Compensation Committee by providing data and recommendations to inform committee decisions.
  • Interpret and analyze compensation terms in Provider Employment Agreements and Professional Services Agreements to ensure accurate implementation and administration.
  • Deliver analytical support for Fair Market Valuation processes, confirming compensation arrangements meet regulatory and organizational guidelines.
  • Partner with service line and medical group leaders to conduct detailed analyses of provider compensation and productivity.
  • Prepare, validate, and distribute quarterly compensation reconciliations in accordance with employment agreements.
  • Collaborate with external valuation firms and consultants to support data collection, analysis, and documentation for Fair Market Value and Commercial Reasonableness reviews.
  • Track and analyze compensation and productivity trends using industry resources such as AMGA, MGMA, and Sullivan Cotter.
