About the Team:
The mission of the engine manufacturing department is to produce high-performance products and manufacturing systems through continuous innovation in cost, quality, and lead time. We support the Terran R program through cross-functional collaboration, heightened accountability, and a commitment to safety. Our responsibilities include providing design feedback on new hardware iterations, developing innovative manufacturing methods and systems, and ultimately constructing engine and vehicle components for testing ahead of our inaugural launch. Over the past six months, our team has achieved significant milestones, including the manufacturing of the first Aeon-R engine, completing thousands of hours of Powder Bed Fusion printing, constructing and testing over 50 valves across 26 iterations, and implementing large-scale process enhancements along the way.
