This role manages the commercial and contractual aspects of high-end residential projects, focusing on cost control and value from start to finish. The position calls for deep sector experience, strong negotiation skills, and a solid grasp of construction industry standards. What You Will Do Cost Management and Control: Prepare and maintain accurate cost estimates, budgets, and forecasts for luxury residential developments. Contract Administration: Draft, review, and negotiate construction contracts, variations, and claims while ensuring compliance with legal and company requirements. Procurement and Tendering: Manage the tender process, evaluate bids, and select suppliers and subcontractors to achieve top quality and value. Project Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to monitor progress and costs, offering timely advice to prevent budget issues. Reporting: Produce financial reports and cost analyses for senior management and stakeholders on a regular basis. Risk Management: Identify commercial risks and develop strategies to protect company interests. What We’re Looking For Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field. Chartered status (MRICS or equivalent) is required. Minimum 15 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor on luxury residential or high-end real estate projects. Strong knowledge of construction contracts, procurement strategies, and cost control methods. Proven skills in contract negotiation, claims management, and dispute resolution. Advanced financial management and analytical skills. Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management abilities. Experience leading and mentoring junior quantity surveyors. Keen attention to detail, with strong organizational and time management skills. Proficient in quantity surveying software and MS Office.
