Responsibilities:Lead design and project management for a variety of water infrastructure projects, including pipelines, pump stations, tanks, planning studies, hydrology/hydraulic evaluations, and rehabilitation efforts. Utilize internal resources for effective project delivery while expanding a local network. Navigate permitting processes, conduct technical studies, and coordinate with clients efficiently. Demonstrate a strong commitment to quality, innovation, and continuous improvement in water infrastructure engineering. Exhibit managerial aspirations and leadership abilities to potentially build and mentor a local team. Quickly familiarize with BKF’s service offerings and effectively cross-sell to regional clients. Develop your own team with a focus on enhancing visibility in the North Bay among clients and business partners. Requirements:Willingness to be based in Santa Rosa to strengthen existing local staff and client relationships, establishing a regional footprint. Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering or a related field. A California Professional Engineer (P. E.) license is mandatory. A minimum of 10 years of experience in water resources infrastructure, including design and management of pipelines, pump stations, and rehabilitation projects. Strong expertise in water infrastructure design, covering pipeline design, pipe rehabilitation, pump station design, and rehabilitation. Proven capability to lead planning studies, master plans, and infrastructure projects from inception through completion. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with clients and internal teams.

The successful candidate will collaborate closely with BKF teams to deliver impactful water infrastructure projects while enhancing our water resources footprint in the region.
