Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.5-10 years of relevant experience, with a focus on land development projects. Preferred: Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in the state of Maryland. Strong knowledge of Maryland Stormwater Management and Erosion and Sediment Control Regulations. Proficiency with AutoCAD and other engineering software.

This role involves close collaboration with architects, designers, engineers, and environmental scientists to deliver projects that balance function, aesthetics, and environmental stewardship. Role overview

The Project Manager leads land development projects from early planning through construction. Projects span residential, commercial, industrial, renewable energy, athletic, and educational developments. Building strong relationships with both internal teams and client partners is central to this position.

What you will do

  • Oversee planning, scheduling, coordination, and management of land development projects and portfolios.
  • Prepare technical reports and studies, and secure local approvals and permits.
  • Support marketing and business development by fostering relationships with prospective and existing clients.
  • Develop and review plans and criteria for projects, coordinating with in-house engineers, designers, surveyors, and outside consultants.
  • Apply knowledge of local and state regulations related to land development and construction permits.
  • Represent clients and the firm at public hearings and community meetings.
  • Mentor junior staff on engineering practices and technical requirements for licensure.
