As a Project Manager at FIRST, you will be an integral part of our Events & Experiences team, responsible for delivering outstanding project management services. You will oversee the execution of virtual, hybrid, and in-person events globally, managing the entire project lifecycle from inception to post-event reconciliation. Your role will involve fostering strong client relationships, managing budgets, negotiating with vendors, and leading teams to ensure flawless event delivery while optimizing efficiency and profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the planning and execution of small to mid-sized events, while supporting large multi-day projects.
  • Source, negotiate, contract, and manage suppliers to enhance profitability.
  • Serve as the primary liaison for clients and vendors, ensuring all logistical needs are met.
  • Maintain comprehensive event documentation to keep the team aligned, including timelines, budgets, and staffing plans.
  • Coordinate virtual events, including rehearsals and technical checks with clients and speakers.
  • Collaborate with hotels and venues to meet event requirements during both pre-planning and on-site execution.
  • Manage vendor relationships across various services (e.g., catering, photography, entertainment).
  • Assist with local permitting and logistics for unique venues and experiences as needed.
  • Support team members in various roles, including speaker management and ground transportation coordination.
  • Work closely with internal departments such as Venue Sourcing, Event Technology, and Creative & Design teams.
