Qualified candidates should have a strong background in project controls, with the ability to:Develop and manage intricate project budgets and cost forecasts for government-funded infrastructure projects. Monitor actual expenditures against budget forecasts and conduct variance analysis across various funding sources. Implement cost control measures that comply with federal and state regulations. Prepare cost reports and necessary documentation for agencies such as the Federal Transit Administration (FTA), Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), and State DOTs. Collaborate with scheduling, procurement, and engineering teams to synchronize cost data with project milestones. Support earned value management (EVM) by integrating cost and schedule performance metrics. Identify cost-related risks and assist in developing mitigation strategies.

About the Position

We are looking for a skilled Project Controls Analyst to join our team and provide critical support on extensive heavy-civil infrastructure initiatives. These projects include highways, roads, bridges, transit systems (rail and bus), and airport developments, employing both traditional and innovative delivery methods. This role is centered on cost control and financial oversight for projects financed by government entities such as the USDOT, FAA, FTA, and state DOTs. The ideal candidate will possess substantial expertise in cost management, risk analysis, and comprehensive reporting for complex, multi-phase projects.

This is a full-time, long-term hybrid position (requiring 2 days a week on-site) located in Oakland, CA.
