Join our dynamic team as a Product Manager, where you will take charge of product discovery and delivery for our diverse range of digital offerings. This role is hands-on, allowing you to work closely with a small, agile team. You will establish and lead our Continuous Discovery practice, conducting regular customer interviews, designing and analyzing experiments, and translating insights into a prioritized product backlog. Reporting directly to the Head of Digital, you will collaborate daily with developers, designers, and external development partners.
Continuous Discovery Responsibilities
- Lead the discovery cadence for digital products, including customer interviews, testing assumptions, and mapping opportunities.
- Develop and maintain Opportunity Solution Trees (OSTs) for each product to highlight the most valuable problems to tackle.
- Design and execute lightweight experiments (such as prototype tests, A/B tests, and concierge tests) to validate solutions prior to development.
- Transform qualitative and quantitative signals into clear, evidence-based product decisions.
- Promote a culture of continuous discovery across the team.
Product Strategy & Prioritization
- Convert the digital north stars into quarterly outcome targets and a prioritized product backlog.
- Collaborate with the Head of Digital to ensure a coherent product roadmap aligned with the KPI framework.
- Balance discovery initiatives with delivery, ensuring the team consistently has a clear, validated queue of projects to develop.
Delivery & Stakeholder Management
- Own the sprint backlog by creating clear and concise tickets for the development team.
- Communicate product progress, risks, and decisions to the Head of Digital and other stakeholders within the organization.
- Manage interdependencies between various digital products.
AI-Enhanced Working Methods
- Leverage AI tools to expedite research synthesis, ticket creation, and reporting.
- Develop reusable prompt patterns and workflows for recurring Product Management tasks.
- Minimize manual administrative tasks within the product function.
Success Metrics
- Establish a continuous discovery cadence within 90 days, incorporating regular interviews, live OSTs, and a validated experiment backlog.
- Ensure the team has a clear, outcome-oriented roadmap that is understood and trusted by the wider business.
- Base product decisions on customer evidence rather than assumptions.
- Decrease dependency on the Head of Digital for daily product prioritization.
- Ensure digital products are measurably progressing toward their north star outcomes.
- Foster strong working relationships with development partners and the internal team.
