Requirements:A minimum of a degree or equivalent professional qualifications in any field.6 to 8 years of relevant experience, with at least 3 years in a supervisory capacity. Comprehensive knowledge of procurement processes, guidelines, and practices. Familiarity with Group Procurement Functions supporting multiple buying entities is advantageous, as is knowledge of government procurement guidelines. Proficiency in e-procurement software. Strong stakeholder management, communication, and problem-solving skills, with a proven track record in project management, risk mitigation, and process improvement. Accounting knowledge and data analytics experience are preferred.

Your expertise will be crucial in managing procurement systems, policies, and processes, ultimately enhancing operational efficiency and governance.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Development: Formulate and execute procurement strategies that align with the organization’s mission and objectives.
  • Leadership: Supervise the procurement team, ensuring adherence to best practices and optimal processes.
  • Compliance and Review: Assess purchase requests to guarantee adherence to corporate policies and optimal outcomes.
  • Advisory Role: Provide guidance to users regarding sourcing, evaluation, approvals, and contracting.
  • Collaboration: Foster effective inter-departmental collaboration to enhance procurement efficacy.
  • Data Analysis: Analyze expenditure data and generate insightful procurement reports, identifying risk areas and opportunities for improvement.
