Qualifications

Required Qualifications:A minimum of 3 years of experience in procurement, category management, contract management, or strategic sourcing. A bachelor’s degree in business, finance, a scientific discipline, or a related field is essential. Ability to cultivate an inclusive work environment that respects diversity in all forms. Proven track record of valuing diverse strengths, perspectives, and approaches. Willingness to report to an off-site location 80% of the time. A valid driver's license is required, with the ability to travel up to 20% of the time. Key Competencies:Experience with material and service category management, contract management, and supplier management. Strong analytical skills, particularly in market analysis and cost modeling. Proficient in team facilitation, presentations, and leadership. Experience leading complex projects across business units. Skills in change management and building client relationships. Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities, with experience presenting to large groups. Comprehensive knowledge of contract terms and negotiation techniques. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Preferred Qualifications:An MBA in business, finance, or a scientific field. Familiarity with SAP, Ariba, MS Office (including Access and Microsoft Project), quality control systems (ISO, QS & Lean Six Sigma), and e-sourcing/e-procurement applications is advantageous.
