Required Experience:A minimum of 10 years of experience managing contractual rights and obligations, risk mitigation strategies, and problem-solving. Thorough understanding of SSC contracting regulations and procurement procedures. Proficient in preparing contract files for review. Demonstrated ability to liaise effectively between government organizations and summarize findings for presentations. Experience with Space Systems Command (SSC) or other Space Force entities. Expertise in developing contractual and pricing strategies, as well as funding and expenditure profiles.

BryceTech is seeking an experienced Contracts Principal to provide strategic advisory and assistance services (A&AS) in support of a significant defense program, with a focus on Department of Defense (DoD) acquisition life cycle planning and Space Force systems. In this pivotal role, you will engage in contract negotiation, administration, compliance, and the execution of acquisition strategies to further SSC’s mission of developing and maintaining cutting-edge space systems.

The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in DoD acquisition regulations (FAR/DFARS), comprehensive contract lifecycle management, and hands-on experience within U. S. Space Force programs.

The Space Systems Command (SSC) encompasses critical areas such as Space Domain Awareness (SDA) systems and Defensive and Offensive Space Control (DSC/OSC) capabilities. SSC/SZ-BC is entrusted with developing, integrating, testing, deploying, sustaining, and supporting systems that address both strategic and tactical operational requirements in complex environments, including ground, near-space, and space.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Facilitate source selection processes in accordance with FAR 9.505-4.

  • Coordinate and manage functional meeting requests.

  • Create source selection documentation.

  • Review and draft proposal evaluations.

  • Support the management of contracts and subcontracts.

  • Advise on contracting actions, including requests for proposals and technical evaluations.

  • Provide insights and determinations regarding contracts.

  • Offer guidance on contractual rights and obligations, risk mitigation strategies, and problem-solving approaches.

  • Assist in managing Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contracts and developing future acquisition strategies.
