Role overview
Based in Dayton, OH, the Platform Software Engineer joins the team responsible for all backend services. This includes payments, analytics, subscriptions, new product features, text-to-speech capabilities, and external APIs.
This position suits engineers who enjoy making product decisions that directly impact users, thrive in change, and focus on delivering excellent user experiences. What you will do
- Design, build, and maintain APIs, including public text-to-speech APIs and internal APIs for payments, subscriptions, authentication, and usage tracking.
- Oversee the backend API ecosystem, with attention to performance and maintainability.
- Collaborate on B2B solutions, with a focus on customization and integration for enterprise clients.
- Work alongside cross-functional teams to ensure backend architecture supports product strategy and enhances the user experience.
