As a Platform Engineer - Support, you will play a critical role in providing first-level support for all information technology-related issues concerning the Microsoft Windows platform within Interactive Brokers (IB). You will assist business and development end-users via phone, email, and through a centralized ticketing system to promptly resolve or escalate any IT challenges. This role demands a solid technical foundation paired with exceptional communication skills. Key competencies include an intermediate understanding of Windows and networking technologies, along with a strong desire to enhance your skill set. You should possess patience for users who may not be as technically inclined and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced business environment characterized by a sense of urgency. Dependability and a proactive approach in assisting end-users while diligently following technical issues through to resolution are essential for success in this role.
