Job Title: PeopleSoft Techno-Functional Consultant

Job Overview:
The PeopleSoft Consultant will engage in comprehensive data and code analysis, develop and evaluate functional designs, and oversee documentation and code promotion utilizing PeopleTools 8.56. Candidates should possess a robust understanding of various modules, including PeopleSoft HR, Benefits, eHire (TAM and Candidate Gateway), Absence Management, Oracle Taleo, Workers Compensation, eProfile, ePerformance, and Employee Profiles (Accomplishments). The Senior Systems Analysts will be pivotal in integrating PeopleSoft modules with other systems, implementing customizations, and applying upgrades and patches across multiple environments. Collaboration with the Project Manager, Business Analysts, Developers, Testers, and key business stakeholders is essential to effectively design, develop, test, and implement initiatives aimed at enhancing the New York City Automated Personnel System (NYCAPS). Candidates must demonstrate the ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities to meet project deadlines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Function effectively in a techno-functional role, with a solid grasp of business processes, relational databases, and PeopleSoft table structures.
- Collaborate with release teams to deliver analysis, design, development, and testing guidance.
- Assess and document business requirements, and facilitate reviews of functional specifications with stakeholders for approval.
- Coordinate with technical teams for transitioning functional specifications to technical designs.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
- Significant PeopleSoft 8.x/9.x (version 9.2 is a plus) techno-functional expertise, specifically in HR and Benefits Administration.
- Proficient knowledge of leave accruals (Absence Management), and integration of PeopleSoft with Oracle Taleo and Worker’s Compensation processes.
- Experience in documenting HR and Benefits processes, with a minimum of five (5) full-cycle PeopleSoft HR and/or Benefits Administration implementation projects.
- Competency in application messaging (integration broker) is required.
- Thorough experience with PeopleCode, SQR, SQL, Application Designer, and Toad.
- Extensive experience in developing PeopleSoft interfaces with legacy and third-party systems.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
