About the Role
As a People Operations Specialist, you will take charge of the operational intricacies that sustain our people function. Your responsibilities will include managing our immigration program, overseeing vendor relationships that support our domestic and international workforce, and handling essential HR operations that our employees rely on. You will join us as the second dedicated People Operations hire, allowing for significant ownership from the outset, minimal bureaucracy, and ample opportunities for professional growth as our team and company expand. This role requires close collaboration with our People Operations Lead and direct partnership with our Head of People to prioritize operational needs effectively.
Key Responsibilities
Manage our Immigration Program: Oversee a high volume of active immigration cases, serving as the primary contact for employees dealing with visa sponsorship. You will handle relationships with external immigration counsel, monitor case milestones and deadlines, and ensure all aspects are efficiently managed. Additionally, you'll develop tracking systems and automations to enhance scalability.
Coordinate US People Operations via PEO: While we utilize a PEO for our US operations, you will be responsible for managing this relationship and payroll administration. As the point of contact for employee inquiries regarding benefits and payroll, you will manage exceptions and escalations, ensuring the PEO is effectively supporting our team.
Support International Operations: Assist in managing our international workforce needs and compliance, ensuring our operations align with global standards.
